As the visionary behind the Faces of Rap Mothers brand, Candy has created a platform that amplifies underrepresented voices in rap and hip-hop culture.
Inspired by her family’s deep ties to the civil rights movement and her own journey as a mother, Candy expanded the series to include fathers—recognizing their pivotal role in shaping artists, families, and communities. Her work spans literature, television (Faces of Rap Mothers Television Network on Roku), and music (Faces of Rap Mothers Music Group), with a mission rooted in empowerment, diversity, and legacy.
