Christopher Duquette wrote with the electricity of a life fully lived. Born in 1958 in Northern California and raised in Upstate New York, Christopher's journey eventually led to SUNY Stony Brook and then Manhattan, where New York City's legendary nightlife became an important part of a life he would later capture with candor on the written page.

For more than two decades, Christopher experienced the rhythms of Manhattan nightlife while simultaneously pursuing a corporate career. His was a life of contrasts, encompassing identity and belonging, success and struggle, addiction and recovery, and ultimately resilience and reinvention.

Christopher later sought a new beginning in the Hudson Valley. His life with longtime partner Storm Orion became part of a continuing journey shaped by recovery, authenticity, and an evolving understanding of self. [donnaink.net]

 

Christopher Duquette passed away in March 2026. DonnaInk Publications learned of his passing later that year and remembers Christopher not simply as a represented author, but as a distinctive individual whose lengthy conversations, personal candor, literary voice, and friendship left a lasting impression.

 

His memoirs remain his literary legacy, lived experiences transformed into narrative and preserved for readers who knew Christopher as well as those meeting his voice for the first time.
