Mr. Henry Smith, wrote the book's Foreword and here is an excerpt:
"Author Wayne Tatum has an impeccable eye for detail and nuance, with an astounding historical memory, and witty (and often self-deprecating) literary style that provides readers of Illustrated Tales for the Easily Entertained a truly entertaining, provocative, experience. Mr. Tatum's vignettes – based on his teen experiences in the then suburban/exurban community of Clinton Maryland – resonate strongly with readers who came of age in the 60s and 70s. Wayne's coming-of-age experiences are told in vivid detail, from unique perspectives, where exhumation of fond and embarrassing memories-from-adolescence are made available for readers of all ages . . ."
